Fireworks and celebrations for the Liberation Day of Da Nang cancelled due to coronavirus concerns

The Da Nang government has cancelled the organisation of fireworks displays, celebrations and exhibitions in the run up to the 45^th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the city, and the 90^th founding anniversary of the municipal Party Committee, in a bid to contain the further spread of the novel coronavirus.

Many cultural and sports activities were scheduled to take place in the city in March to celebrate the special days of Da Nang. Included were fireworks displays, photo exhibitions showcasing  the city’s socio-economic  achievements, and more.
